Members of the DC Great Books discussion group meet on the fourth Monday of each month to discuss classics of world literature. In September, we will be reading Père Goriot (sometimes translated as Old Goriot) by Honoré de Balzac. At the following meeting on October 22, we will discuss The Elementary Forms of Religious Life by Emile Durkheim.
