Call for Volunteers: Programming Committee
Join in the fun and get involved!
The UChicago Club of Washington, DC is starting a Programming Committee, which will support the current Programming Chair with the task of overseeing and managing DC's ongoing and growing programming activities. As such, the UChicago Club of Washington, DC is seeking several engaged, detail oriented, and enthusiastic alumni to join. An ideal candidate would have time each week to assist alumni who have taken on the role of planning an event by responding to questions, assisting the alumni with executing the event and with ensuring the event is properly promoted.
The Programming Committee's role is to assist and provide support to the alumni who are planning, promoting, and executing events. With the growing number of events and active alumni in the area, additional volunteers are vital to the success of the events. In addition, Programming Committee members maybe tasked with handling special programming projects (for example, planning an annual volunteer dinner or taking on Thirsty Thursday).
This an excellent opportunity to get more involved with the UChicago Alumni Club in DC. If you are intersted in joining the Programming Committee, please email the current Programming Chair, Mariangela Anzalone, at by December 1, 2013, and provide a short write-up on your interest in the committee, prior involvement, and availability.
