Our Mission...
Mission:
The University of Chicago Club of Washington, DC, is a non-profit organization with a purpose to provide fellowship for the diverse alumni of the University of Chicago living in Washington, DC, and the surrounding areas of southern Maryland and northern Virginia.
The DC Club's mission is to provide opportunities for alumni, parents, and friends of the University to serve as it's advocate, articulating the role and direction of the University; to encourage intellectual enrichment and professional growth through forums and presentations; and to elevate the stature of the University in our communities through club programming.
Our goal is to help sustain the community we joined when we enrolled at the University as students, and to help the University's mission of letting knowledge grow from more to more, and so be human life enriched.
We consider it our duty, because in order to be a good student, it is not enough just to be good essays writers , you need to be active in the life of the university in all possible ways.
By-Laws:
The Club drafted, with input and assitance from the University, and signed by-laws that govern the group's operations. If you are interested in learning about how the Club works please take a moment to review our by-laws by clicking the link below.
