Networking: How to Make the Most of Your Professional Network
Cost: free CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
Everybody does it, but very few do it well. It can be scary at first, but will be crucial to your growth and development. This event will focus on one of the most important but least understood aspects of professional development: Networking. Networking is the creation and development of a network of useful acquaintances. This is an investment in the future: you simply make acquaintances that will be needed in your career, as if you buy letter of recommendation but you do it live, and you recommend yourself. Panelists have each built distinguished careers by cultivating extensive professional networks and will share their advice on how you can build a professional network of your own and what you should expect to get out of it.
Panelists Will Include:
- Tony Mayo, Entrepreneur and Executive Coach
- Russell R. Rumbaugh, Director of the Budgeting for Foreign Affairs and Defense Program at the Henry L. Stimson Center
- Darrylyn Bakshi, Law Clerk at the Financial Services Roundtable
