Free tour of Clara Barton House to be followed by tea and refreshments at the home of fellow alumna, Sabrina McCarthy

Join fellow alumnae for a guided tour of the Clara Barton House at 2 p.m., followed by tea and refreshments at the home of CWA-DC member Sabrina McCarthy (five minutes away from Clara Barton House by car). All Chicago alumnae and friends are welcome.
Clara Barton cared for wounded soldiers during the Civil War and became the first president of the American Red Cross. She spent the last 15 years of her life at Clara Barton House. Ride On Bus 29 will take you to Clara Barton House from either the Friendship Heights or the Bethesda Metro Station on the Red Line. Plan your trip on public transportation at http://www.wmata.com/.
Car rides are available to the home of Sabrina McCarthy for tea, refreshments and conversation following the tour.
