Join the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Chicago Women’s Alliance (www.uchicagocwa.org) for a tour of the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum (http://www.sewallbelmont.org). The Sewall-Belmont House is the historic headquarters of the National Women’s Party and was the center of the fight for women’s economic and political equality in Washington. The cost of the guided tour is $8 per person.
We will meet first for a potluck brunch at the home of Anne Nelson (AB'06), and then proceed to the Sewall-Belmont House for our tour. The closest metro stop to Anne’s house is Eastern Market on the Blue/Orange Line. Detailed directions will follow in your confirmation email.
