Nothing provides the foundation for a life of the mind as well as a concentration in the Humanities Division of the University of Chicago. But for many, the pathway from a concentration in English Literature, Classics, Art History, or Fundamentals to success in the job market may be somewhat less clear. Nonetheless, a Humanities concentration can provide numerous skills that are highly valued in many fields.

This event’s panelists have all found innovative ways to build on their experiences in the Humanities to develop successful careers in their chosen professions. They will share their experiences of building their early careers and offer their insights into how Alumni can make the most of their experience in the Humanities.
