Building and Leveraging Your Network is a 60-minute webinar designed to increase your overall effectiveness and motivation to engage in networking, one of the most important drivers of long-term career success. In this session, Michelle will:

  • Highlight the importance and role of networking activities in the job search process as well as for long-term career success
  • Share a framework for assessing and strengthening one’s personal and professional network
  • Impart best practices for creating and delivering an effective networking pitch
  • Discuss key steps and best practices to developing and executing an effective networking strategy

Michelle earned her undergraduate marketing degree at The Wharton School, and spent four years providing marketing research and consulting services to consumer packaged goods companies before earning her MBA from Chicago Booth in 1997. After working at Bain & Company both as a Summer Associate and Consultant, Michelle served as the MBA Recruiting Director in Deloitte Consulting’s Chicago office, managing their MBA campus recruiting activities and programs. After spending a year as a stay-at-home mother, Michelle rejoined the workforce as the Consulting and Social Impact industry career advisor at The Wharton School’s MBA Career Management office, and she assumed the Director role from 2006-2010, overseeing the entire office’s management of employer relationships and delivery of career services for both the full-time and Executive MBA student and alumni populations.

Drawing upon both her employer and career coaching perspectives, Michelle launched Michelle Antonio Career Coaching, LLC in 2010 in order to focus her passion and energy on helping her clients achieve both their short and long-term career goals. She has developed an extensive client list through her coaching and career programming initiatives with the full-time MBA, Executive MBA and alumni populations at highly regarded MBA programs including The Wharton School, Harvard Business School, Darden School of Business and the University of Chicago.
