At the October meeting, we will be discussing the historical novel, Augustus by John Williams. Augustus is an epistolary novel telling the story of the Emperor Augustus, from his youth through old age. It was a joint winner of the 1973 U.S. National Book Award for Fiction. This book has recently been republished by the New York Review of Books.


The Great Books Reading and Discussion Group normally meets on the fourth Monday or each month at the Agora Restaurant.
