David Axelrod: My Forty Years in Politics
David Axelrod Comes to DC to Discuss His New Memoir

Cost: $15 for one ticket, $38 for book and one ticket, $43 for book and two tickets
Registration Required: http://www.sixthandi.org/event/david-axelrod/
Prior to founding the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics in 2012, Axelrod served as a political strategist for President Obama’s two presidential campaigns, as well as a Senior Advisor in the Obama White House. In his new memoir, Axelrod shares a wealth of stories from his forty-year journey through the inner workings of American democracy - first in New York and then as a young reporter for The Chicago Tribune, to his national campaign work, including Paul Simon’s successful Senate race in 1990 and subsequent campaigns with a host of Democratic leaders, and on to his long friendship with Obama.

Join fellow UChicago alumni and politics junkies to hear David Axelrod discuss his new memoir, Believer: My Forty Years in Politics, at the Sixth and I. Following the event, David will be available to sign books. We were unable to reserve a block of tickets, so make sure to order tickets and pre-order books (if you want) through the Sixth and I website.
