Do You Remember When You Had To Wait For The Evening News ... To Get The News?
An exhibit about us! Join your fellow boomers to learn about your cohort, past and present. See how you fit into history. View toys, books and other artifacts you haven't seen in a while.
We will gather at 9:30 AM in the lobby of the Newseum. Everyone will buy their own ticket ($22.95 plus tax for adults - good for two consecutive days) and we will see the 90 minute PBS documentary "Boomers". After that we will tour "The Boomers List" exhibit, followed by a pay-as-you-go lunch. In the afternoon, we will view "1965: Civil rights at 50" or another exhibit of choosing.
The Newseum is at 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW near the Archives Metro stop. Street parking is tight but there are garages in the area.
Please contact us at to RSVP and with any questions.
