ScriptDC is the premier conference for Mid-Atlantic writers, producers and talent to achieve their creative dreams by connecting them with accomplished teachers, consultants and industry professionals. The 2015 edition will be November 13-15, 2015 at The George Washington University. What is Included in Your Registration?
We’ll open with a special program on Friday with Story District and DC Shorts. PLUS a full day of workshops on Saturday on everything from how to pitch your feature to writing the half-hour TV comedy, from adapting book to screen to working with a literary agent, and more. Saturday evening includes a screening that evening of Dead Poets Society with a Q&A with Oscar-winning screenwriter Tom Schulman. On Sunday - pitch and script critiques.
Workshop tracks include a directing master class (Friday night and all-day Saturday); four workshops for emerging writers; four workshops for advanced writers including a pitching intensive; four workshops for producers; and four workshops that concentrate on documentaries.
