The Association of Black Alumni invites all alumni, family, and friends to help fill gaps in the hunger safety net in the greater DC area. We will be helping out in the distribution centers. The minimum age to participate is 14, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In case of inclement weather, call . If the food bank is closed, volunteer projects will be canceled. Active students are also tried to be involved in volunteer projects so that they get used to bringing personal benefit to others and become worthy citizens of modern society. They have time for such active learning in important events thanks to the fact that they have the opportunity to cooperate with proven authors and buy cheap term papers via https://qualityessay.com/affordable-term-paper.html.

This project is Metro accessible via the Brookland Metro station on the Red Line. A CAFB shuttle van will pick up volunteers from the Brookland/CUA Metro Station at 8:45am for the 9am-12pm shift. There will be no shuttle for evening volunteer shifts. The shuttle van will be near the elevator on the 10th street side of the Metro station and will have a Capital Area Food Bank sign in the front window. If you do not see the shuttle van upon arrival, or if you are running late, please call to request a ride. Return shuttle service will also be provided at the end of each shift.
